We returned to Fiorella's in Newton for my brother's birthday after too long a hiatus. This family owned treasure provided a perfect night. The team welcomed us warmly. It was crowded at 6:30 on a Thursday but we felt totally relaxed and unrushed (may not be a word). The arancini and caprese salad appetizers were delicious. The sauce was tarry and not over salted. We ordered eggplant and veal parm both wonderful. I had the braised short ribs Milanese which melted like buttah. The wine list is short but with a good variety of Italian regional choices at reasonable prices. We were too stuffed and dieting to try the attractive desserts. Beautiful patio with flowers and a nice fence around it. Courteous, professional staff. They were very accommodating of us bringing our toddler, had crayons and a kids menu and were able to accommodate her dairy allergy. She sat and ate ziti and sauce our whole lunch! The grownups had salad Nicoise and a haddock sandwich, which were both tasty.

I met a friend for lunch and the restaurant we planned was closed. google restaurants near and found fiorella’s . now it will be our place. good food, very good service reasonable prices!
