Gran Sasso - Reservar uma mesa

Finally went here with my son, Randy. Sharon Somerton (My “big sister” and I were supposed to go after I moved to Brantford. Unfortunately, we never got the opportunity too.Sharon, always raved about this place. So when I went with my son last October I found out why.It’s small and you must make reservations. But it’s well worth the time and effort to get in. When we walked in we were greeted my a lovely young person. We did not wait long before someone was there to serve us.From looking around all were happy and enjoying the food. At the beginning of the night things started out pretty great. Our server was lovely, however the owner and the other waitress were downright rude. I was rubbing my ankle and the one waitress was openly making fun of me to other staff. When I made it clear that I could see what she was doing she proceeded to hide behind the counter (very childish). The owner made a point of introducing herself to the other tables and checking in but our table was openly ignored. (My money isn’t good enough I guess). We were well aware of the time limits set by them but I felt literally rushed out… they were trying to clear the table while mother was still eating. They are lucky my family member paid the bill...

We celebrated a birthday dinner with our son and wife, excellent service, good food, friendly staff all very efficient. We started with bruschetta bread and cesar salads, the birthday girl had chicken, I had lamb, the two men had the beef tenderloin everything was hot, delicious and presented attractively. Just as a heads up we were told when we made the reservation that the limited time per table was 1 1/2 hours, our reservation was for 6:30, we were seated on time, served immediately and were out the door in less than the allotted time.

We came on a Wednesday night and sat outside. We were the only ones there for a while, and while it was nice to have the privacy, it was a shame becuase the vibes were super cute and staff were incredibly friendly and made some great recommendations!We had the Teramo and Norina pastas and they were very delicious, and we each had a basic cocktail and glass of wine.This is a great little spot for a date night that's a little more elevated but not toooo fancy! We'll be back, support local!

Omg. Fantastic!! Have wanted to try this place for a long time. So frustrated with other restaurants who advertise as Italian and are not. This was the real deal. So so fresh. Lovely flavours ! Can't say enough about how great it was.We got the Arancini , gnocchi, spaghetti and meatballs , ragu and fettuccini.Highly recommend !
