The Keg Steakhouse Brantford

It was bad from the start when Chad (the General Manager) failed to actually to log our reservation for 12 people celebrating mom’s 90th birthday. Fortunately we caught this and ‘rebooked’. However, just before we arrived, they called and asked if they could put us in the Lounge, without considering or advising that we were now having to climb onto high bar stools in a room with very loud music. We were jammed into a corner where 8 people were expected to share a bench on one side of the table. Meanwhile the Dining room was mostly empty and quiet. This is the first time I have visited the keg, and it blew away all of my expectations. The service was amazing and very friendly. I ordered the blackened chicken and I have to say it was probably the most delicious thing I have ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the garlic confit was unbelievable. Definitely going to visit here again

First it was cold in there . The sourdough bread was cold ..normally it's warm to hot ..it was cold . Ordered medium wells steak that came very undercooked .. not a fan of the veggies served either.. overall it's been the worst experience at the keg so far

Service was fantastic. Food was good but their appetizers weren't prepared as well as at other locations (chicken wings weren't breaded and meatball crostini's were burnt. Main dishes were great but very salty (cut down the salt).

Wife and I had Steak, both Medium Rare cooked perfectly. Micheal our server was awesome, very attentive, food timed out perfectly between Appetizers and Entrees, never rushed. Pricey but a nice treat for special Occasions.
