I went here with my husband and two sons. The service was extremely slow, we had to approach a server after waiting 10 minutes, when we received our food we where not tended too until we forced communication on one of the two waitresses.It was quite obvious they were annoyed at having children in the restaurant. Then the one waitress almost knocked my 3 yr old down as she was rushing through the restaurant at a jog. Then she cursed at him and gave us a dirty look. This was one of my favorite restaurants!!! I loved coming here and the food was awesome. Unfortunately, that was last year. I still love this place, don't get me wrong, but they've changed the food. The ingredients are different (lower quality) and the taste just isn't as good anymore.I thought it might have just been a bad day, and I wasn't ready to give up on this place, so I came back, and it was even worse. The won ton soup was oily and bland, and the won tons themselves were made from a kind of dense, pureed meat that tasted off somehow.I'm super sad, because Castlegar really needs restaurants like this, and it used to be my absolute favorite place to eat. Well I loved the decor. This place I was told to go to repeatedly by locals. It is loved loved by the locals! Everyone told me to go there! It is odd placement and modern as the hotel seems dated and old. But I ventured in anyways. . The food was good. I have definitely had better pad Thai but for limited options in Castlegar I think this is the best you are going to get. The salad and cucumber accompanying it was fresh. So it was tasty and fresh but like I said I am spoiled in vancouver! Wish I could have sampled more on the menu but had to run! So thumbs up overall.

We had such a nice experience at this restaurant. We were seated quickly, waited on for drinks (which were great) and food order taken promptly. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband's yellow curry (his favorite) was some of the best we've tasted and my Thai steak salad was yummy. Danny even took the time to explain what bubble tea is (we had never heard of it) and then make us one to try. Funky location, but otherwise, just perfect. Reserve uma mesa agora

I have been working here from out of town and have had a lot of meals at this great place ! The food !!! The food here is so good , it beyond what I would ever expect in a small town. It's sooooo good ! I got to meet the owner, he's the most humble honesty guy. He really has something special going on in castlegar If your in town, you need to eat here

Had a nice meal! Service was great! We had the salad rolls which were awesome! I had the lemongrass chicken vermicelli and was a bit disappointed! (Not as much flavour as I was hoping). My husband had the spicy pho soup and really enjoyed it. The portions are quite large! Conveniently located next to our hotel.

We've been to this restaurant a number of times since it's been open. The pho and spring rolls are so delicious, and you can't go wrong with the bubble tea. Service has always been really friendly and efficient.

Who would have though that there is a Chinese restaurant in Castlegar? Turns out better than burger st the pub.
