Grow Your Roots Cafe

The GYR Cafe is awesome. Even if you are not vegan you should try this place. We had a lovely dinner there tonight. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. My hubby is not vegan and he really enjoyed the food as well. And it was very refreshing to be able to order off a restaurant menu and not have to alter and/or question the ingredients. Thank you so much GYR Cafe for a lovely meal. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful little restaurant and worth the drive to Kanata! Excellent vegan food that will satisfy any omnivore. Well-priced, delicious soups, sandwiches, and salads, not to mention excellent service. I especially appreciated the huge dessert portions and the friendly community atmosphere.

Drove over an hour to eat brunch and cannot wait to try lunch and the new fall menu. Yummmm. I have to admit the latte and cookies were the best I've had. Keep up the great vegan work GYR

Cinnamon buns are amazing! Great place for a vegan lunch/brunch. Our 3 year old gobbled up his hollandaise biscuit! Staff are lovely will definitely be back it's worth the drive!

Breakfast and lunch are awesome. Totally in a weird emplacement but worth the drive. Waited a bit for water which was annoying but food is delicious and the resto is lovely.
