We went there for lunch because the restaurant is just 200 mt away from Schloss Bürresheim that we visited that morning. I must say, I was not too convinced it would have been a good choice because of all the mixed reviews of other travellers; but it turned out it was. We found a shaded place on the terrace with no reservation and we had a great view of the simply manicured garden. The service staff were very friendly and attentive. The cheese and onion bread they brought us was fragrant and delicious. The food was excellent. We had lamb that simply melted in your mouth and really tender filet. Only 200m from the Bürresheim Castle a nice restaurant, we sat for lunchin the winter garden terrace. I had delicious scallops wrapped in a bacon jacket over potato salad with pine nuts and salad. Good food, good location in a nice setting. Do not miss this restaurant if you visit the Castle!

The food was outstanding. The restaurant is lovely inside. They also have a very pretty winter garden terrace. The service was great. The server was very friendly and helpful.
