It may just have been our room, but with a 12 mile an hour wind outside the window was howling. I’m not kidding, it sounded like a tornado was approaching. Also, we stayed one night and the rate was over $200 which is ridiculous for, a hotel of this caliber. I guess spring break really messed everything up, but it simply was not worth that amount of money, especially the unbelievable window issue, and when the front desk person told me, it was not that big a deal and I was overreacting, I don’t consider that good customer service.
As of September 2023, it appears that the hotel located at the airport, has been recently renovated. Staff was responsive and friendly. The room, #315, was clean. While close to the airport sound was not an issue. It is a smaller hotel with the usual amenities, adequate but nothing to be excited about. For us it served our purposes, we were in town visiting friends. Free breakfast was ok, rather average, limited choices, but constantly restocked and what was available each morning was hot and fresh.
SO wonderful to be located this close to the Montrose airport. After an unexpected day of constant travel delays, it was nice to find a clean…updated and comfortable place to lay our heads! We made the trek to Telluride the next morning, but were so happy with our service at this Hampton Inn. The front desk staff was also very warm and welcoming upon arriving and answered a few of our local questions! Thank you!
Really clean, comfortable hotel seconds from MJT! So close I just walked from the terminal. All the staff was always nice the limited times I interacted with them. Never did breakfast, opted for sleep but I heard it was mostly powdered eggs and basic items. The room was spotless, I had a wonderful 18 hour visit. Will definitely return! Reserve uma mesa agora
Nice stay here with my dog. Shout out to Ashley, Jake, and Niko for making it a good stay. Nice, clean room. Great location (next to gas station convenience store). Only ~60 miles from Telluride and ~11 miles from Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP which is awesome. Recommend and will repeat future stays here.
