Besides seeing my beloved family, a potato fritter from Heamoor Chip Shop is the highlight of visits to Penzance! Damon and all the other staff are always so friendly, they are people I consider family friends! My uncle, auntie and gran get fish and chips here every Saturday (seemingly without fail). When I go to visit them, I get to join in on this delicious dinnertime tradition and I LOVE it! Their food has been spot on, consistently, for years and years. When you go to Wetherspoons or macdonalds, you half expect your food to be cold, or otherwise lacking. You will never be dissatisfied after a trip to Heamoor Chip Shop though! Not the cheapest, but absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked beautifully still lovely and moist, nice crisp thin batter and the chips were really really good, can't fault it.

Super friendly fryer and server. A decent sized portion of excellent fish chips for us and the dog loved the sausage. Well worth the few minutes drive from marizion.

Ordered just as the local farmer was unloading a landrover full of spuds. Lovely fresh fish aswell. Doesn't get any better than this. Thanks
