Hotel & Restaurant Weisser Hirsch

We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas dinner here that is up there with the best. This restaurant enjoys a great location right on the market square in Wernigerode and is very tastefully decorated and presented. The staff was friendly and efficient and well copied with my very average German! The food was delicious and well cooked. Overall an excellent experience for our family!

The restaurant is located in the centre of Wernigerode. Plus: The outdoor seating area is great and overlooking the square in front of the picturesque town hall. The service is good, beer is good. Minus: We wanted to go for Diner here, but it seemed that they changed their menu completely. Not for us.

We visited the restaurant spontaneously and were very impressed by the great service and child-friendliness. The food was also pretty good and the view at the old town hall of Wernigerode quite nice.

Very nice spot to have a break and enjoy the town hall and market place. A bit expansive but good food.
