Iggy's Boardwalk - Reservar uma mesa

We have been coming here for 28 years. I brought my kids here I brought my grandkids here and my mother-in-law and father-in-law live down the street quarter mile. The last few trips to Rhode Island we were unable to get to Iggy's so it's been a couple of years. We ordered the fish and chips, we ordered red chowder, white chowder and of course clam cake. To say our hearts broke is an understatement. The clam cakes used to be full of clams and had odd shapes because they were hand dropped.. these look definitely balled up like meatballs; like they were shaped.. if not frozen and then reheated. the food you get doesn't look like the huge portions on their commercials - the fish and chips fish was small - but the ad shows it hanging over the plate-ok-I think I'm stupid-aber guess what-even I can see his a demolition my bad-off our list of places to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No mussels or mussel flavor in the cakes and the dough guys were just soft bread with sugar..no taste. So disappointed she had eaten for a long time.... lots of money for not such a big treat

Vibe and atmosphere was good. Our server was nice. The food was just mid. Reminded me of Ivars in Seattle.
