we were recently on our long journey to Germany from the normandie and took a branch from the autobahn after crossing the German/Belgium border to find somewhere to dinner. we literally followed our nases and landed at a place where they are called most corniest – somewhere. that seemed to be nowhere in the middle. the country hotel and restaurant looked like the suns on a cloudy day secretly and slanted. we parked in the generous, free parking lot and with our dog in the tow we made ourselves a way into the entrance. we were greeted more or less by a friendly waitress who looked at our dog and led us from the main part of the restaurant to an ante room that was apparently reserved for “with...

it is far from aachen, but they are smart to visit and taste the carving. it's really good, the source is wonderful.
