Jackie's Dream - Reservar mesa

We stop by on our way back to Cali from NY. First time here and I can said if we ever pass or come to Tennessee we definitely are stopping here again. Service was great and staff was attentive owner came by to greet us. Food was delicious. We had thefried chicken it was super crispy and tender best part it wasn't greasy as other places I have been to. Collard greens, thegreen, and the cabbage were sweet and tender just yummy. Husband had the meatloaf and it was delicious but he loved the friedchicken and mac cheese best. I recommend to get the fried mushrooms we all felt in love with those they were over the topdelicious and yummy ????

During my few days in Knoxville, I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious southern meal. The catfish, served with two sides, was fantastic. The two large pieces of catfish were perfectly fried, and the collard greens were excellent as well. However, the mac and cheese didn't quite meet my expectations; although it was baked, it was still a bit too soupy for my liking. Baked mac and cheese should be a little drier. On a positive note, the cornbread was tasty.

This restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. We even had the chance to meet the owner and chat with her for a while. The home-cooked food is incredible; my turkey and dressing was so delicious that I almost finished it before remembering to take a picture. The fried okra was among the best I've ever tasted. The friendly and quick service made the experience even better. Overall, it’s a fantastic place!

I went in and ordered a veggie plate. Pintos, slaw, collard greens, and yams... The food was straight out of the can. It just wasn't good y'all, and the slaw was all mayonnaise. No vinegar or sugar, or salt and pepper.. Just lack luster at best.. I mean, if you don't know good food it's probably good, but it's well below par for me, so I won't be going back.

When I step into Jackie's, it feels like I'm entering a family home. I'm always welcomed with a friendly smile. Jackie herself comes over to chat with us, which makes the experience even more personal. The food is consistently excellent. My goddaughter absolutely loves the mac and cheese, and those fried green tomatoes are delicious!

Don't expect them to be open at noon, even though their hours say they open at 11. I really wanted to try their food and was disappointed.
