Japonica Redondo Beach

OH WE WENT IN AT THIS PLACE! The wait was not long at all. Service was good, staff was attentive. My daughter just started getting into hand rolls she said this is her new fave spot for them! My favorite roll had to be the bluefin bombshell! I'd go back for that alone! My bestie had Sapporo it paired nicely with the rolls. The nigiri quality was quite good too, not my favorite but still good. The place isn't too big, but it's cute for an intimate lunch or dinner.

Amazing service, fun atmosphere. These guys make some of the most creative and delicious rolls I've had. Just from the last visit, the White Lightning is best seller for a reason, it has an unbelievable flavor; and the Bluefin Samurai is very playful on the palette (if not a bit bitter from the tiny charcoal bits). They also have fantastic ramen and saki bomb here.

Everything about Japonica is incredible. The spicy tan tan ramen. 5-stars. The fantastic service by the only server in the restaurant? 5 stars. The smoked soy sauce? Beyond 5 stars. They were out of the crispy rice but I'm sure that spicy tuna on crispy rice would be 5 stars too.

Best sushi in the South Bay! Service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. My fiancé and I always come here at least once a week. Cute interior and great outdoor space with heaters! They also do happy hour!! Extra bonus points!

Best 7 Day Happy Hour in the South Bay. I believe it's 3 to 6PM daily! We ordered every item from the happy hour menu and loved it. Sushi was delicious. Great service great food.
