Yanagi Kitchen Redondo Beach

As a long-time customer, I am very disappointed. I ordered my meal just 45 minutes before closing, and the chicken I received was so dry and old that it was inedible. I tried to call to express my concerns, but there was no answer. It's unacceptable that they would serve a protein that was obviously overcooked and unfit for consumption, especially when they still chose to package it for delivery. This experience was terrible and, to make matters worse, it was quite expensive!

In Short, This is our new go to neighborhood sushi spot. Decent food. Average prices. Good flavors. Great service. Love the order online with chownow. Makes things easy and quick. More elaborate, We stopped going to our old go to sushi place and found Yanagi 2x better. Prices are average to higher for a takeout place and that?s probably the inflation times we?re living in affecting it as well but still not too crazy for sushi. The food is good. I just had the best customer service experience of my life. The restaurant called me after my husband picked up our take out order and let me know they accidentally forgot to put one of our items in our order. They got my address and had it delivered to me . I haven?t had this kind of awesome pride in your business and service ever. I have been a customer for years and will continue. Not to mention the food is amazing! Thank you Yanagi.

Nice small place, maybe only a little dark for my personal taste (but to someone it may feel more intimate?! . Just stopped for a quick lunch right before closing hours, the staff was nice enough to let us eat nonetheless. Excellent variety in the menu, and prices seemed overall on the cheap side. The ingredients here are incredibly fresh and high-quality, elevating this restaurant above even the top sushi spots in LA. I decided to upgrade my infused crab and salmon roll to blue crab tonight, and it was absolutely worth the extra $6. You simply have to try their crab—it's to die for! Enjoy your meal!

Everything was delicious! The sushi was fresh and reasonably priced. My kids really enjoyed the California Hand Roll and the dumplings. My husband and I loved the Big Eye Sashimi and the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice—so tasty! We can’t wait to either dine in or order delivery again.

I absolutely love this sushi restaurant! The sushi always tastes fresh, the rolls look just as stunning as they do in the pictures, and my orders are usually ready for pickup in just 20 minutes. You can't go wrong with this place!

Yummy, but not worth $10 roll average. Farm raised fish with no nutrients. Go to market and buy a whole slab of meat for $14, rice oil and seaweed $22 total. You can feed 10 people easy.

Great japanese fare, yummy sushi and friendly service. This is the new location, and we are so happy they have stayed here in Redondo Beach. The best sushi ???? !!
