I have been coming here for decades but never made a review. This is based on my last visit. We were seated in the lower lounge area and it was hot. The AC didn’t reach us but the server was amazing. She gave us lots of ice and ice water. The ravioli with steak and shrimp was so good, everyone ordered it and raved how good it was. It was definitely a must try. The truffle fries here wasn’t very good, it didn’t have any truffle flavour. Lastly the apple pie has lost its super power. I remembered it was so orgasmically good before we would pack an extra one to bring home. The crust wasn’t as flaky, size is smaller, and not as much apple filling as I would like. Update: I decided to come back again after a bad experience as I craved the Ahi Tuna Club.. This time, I had a spectacular experience, all thanks to Aly! She really took care of me with great follow-ups and conversations! Will definitely visit again! *2 stars to 5 stars* Old post: Disappointing. Back after a few months. Had a so-so experience this time... I did not get water or napkins. When the food came out, I had to ask for napkins, and I had to ask about the drink that I ordered (which should have arrived before the food) I also had to go to the hostess to pay as my server never returned. *5 to now 2 stars*
Great ambiance, very attentive service, diverse menu, average dishes. Came here on a whim and would recommend. Everyone was very welcoming the moment we entered. Food came out quickly. The cod was pretty good; equal portions of rice and protein, could have had more veggies, savory but light. Butcher sandwich dip was underwhelming for sure. The bread was barely toasted, sauce was a bit too salty, but the French fries were perfectly crispy. Overall, food is a bit pricy for quality , but the service and ambiance made up for it.
Had our going away party for our coworker at Joey 's Coquitlam tonight. Our waitress was Abby and she was delightful. She checked on us often and make sure we have everything we need. She even used my friend 's name on the dessert board Bon Voyage, smart girl. Everyone had fun, I ordered more than I was planning to coz the atmosphere was great. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Our server Ario was incredibly attentive, friendly, and kind. He even brought out a little cocktail for the table to celebrate my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was absolutely delicious I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal. 10/10, would dine here again!
Amazing food and even better service! My friends and I were celebrating a special occasion tonight and the whole staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time. I can’t say enough great things about how attentive and thoughtful they were. I can’t wait to come back already!
Enjoyed the food and service. Very accommodating for our reunion. Had to make a phone call for reservation for more than 6 but all went pretty well. We ordered the tuna poke bowl and their famous hand pressed burgers as usual. Will be back for another reunion for sure!
