The food is great, but I have to give this place 2 stars for the service. This past weekend was my first time eating here and I was absolutely not impressed. As soon as my group of 2 was sat, we were ignored for 20 minutes until someone finally took our order. During this in between time, I asked for water as we had not got any brought to our table yet. After the water was brought, the two tables next to us were given water and their orders taken immediately. By this time we didn't get to eat until 40 min later... This place rocks. Walked in at 6:15 tonight (Friday) and got a seat in about 10 minutes. The wait staff was super nice, we interacted with 3 people and they were all kind and effective. Had to tip 25% for that! We ordered the spicy garlic edamame very good and the spiciness sneaks up on you. We got the Washington roll, which was a little lackluster in the look but definitely delivered in taste and portion size. We got the Volcano Baked Roll and that was A SHOW STOPPER! The plate arrived aflame, and we let it burn out before digging in. Once we tasted, we were obsessed. The last great sushi place we had was in San Diego almost 3 years ago! I recently dined at a sushi restaurant, and I must say, it left a lot to be desired. I opted for a nice bowl of chirashi bowl in mind. Unfortunately, my expectations were far from met. The fish did NOT appear or taste particularly fresh, which was a major disappointment. In fact, the quality of the fish was so underwhelming that I could only eat half of it... The overall dining experience was rather mediocre. While the ambiance and service was good, the food could be better.

We come here on regular the service is great the servers are awesome and the chefs are amazing! They food is always superb! They nice verity of what to select from sushi to Ramon. Their menu is more on the spicy side but don't let that stop you! It nice little restaurant in middle of downtown claremont perfect for date night or just nice lunch on outdoor seating. Another wonderful evening. They don't fail to impress. From the attentiveness of the staff to the quality of the food, this place is amazing. Anybody that hasn't joined here yet should definitely consider it. The food quality is stellar. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Hidden gem with authentic sushi, nice staff and an amazing extensive selection of sushi, appetizers and drinks. Everything we ordered was delicious!
