La Gremelle - Reservar uma mesa

Hallo I sometime pass through my favorite French wine area. I opted La Gremelle based on reviews and as I just needed a simple overnight with a decent dinner Hotel basic but ok’ish considering price Restaurant not worth a revisit I ordered the regional menu. 4 courses. Main course (fish) was not fresh. Accompanying pasta with no taste. Unfortunately not worth finishing. Cheese was fine. Desert decent. Much better options for inexpensive restaurants in area. Service however friendly

We made reservations for lunch. After arriving it took about 20 minutes before we received the menu and wine list. The three course lunch took about 2,5hrs in total. It appeared that the staff was totally lacking control over the situation. Empty glasses, people waiting for food, and the staff nowhere around. The food was quite decent with the escargots as a positive highlight. Once this restaurant will get its service in order, probably a nice place to dine or have lunch.

Delightful lunch from the beginning to the end. The poached eggs in an Epoisse one of Burgundy cheeses sauce were delicious as well as the authentic escargots. The fish was fresh. We loved the pears poached in red wine with caramel ice cream. We were very welcomed. The decor was very pleasant. Overall, we would recommend La Gremelle without hesitation. We family of four stopped on our way back for one night. The service was impeccable, the rooms clean ...with a distinct US-style motel flair. Had a wine later at night on the steps in front of the room, and it felt a little 60s-ish movie-like! : , the pool was very welcome and the food fabulous, as was the wine selection. Would visit again!

This small restaurant/ hotel served one of the best dinners we had during our stay in France. While the hotel rooms are unpretentious and simple (very thin walls , the food was excellent. Jump in the pool, have a drink and eat and you will have a wonderfull evening. Great choices of wine and all way to affordable ;
