La Pause de Pierrette

Tucked away behind a bar is a little restaurant which surprised us with its food and ambience. We were welcomed by a warm friendly smile and made to feel totally at home. Our waiter had also worked in our home town of MELBOURNE so his stories of his time in Oz kept us entertained. The place was very cosy without feeling squashed and the waiting staff were extremely attentive. We had some lovely French wine to accompany fish and a lovely piece of steak beautifully done. Dessert was also scrumptious completing a very filling meal. This was a very delightful place to share with family or as a couple. So quaint and would definitely be on our list for the future. We dined here twice this wk... not the cheapest in Val Thorens but quality food and very accommodating staff. Highly recommend
