La Pladza - Reservar uma mesa

Called in for a quick supper as this great little Italian place is just round the corner from where we are staying. Had takeaway previously ( which is also excellent) but decided to eat in.Great menu including pastas and fantastically friendly waiting staff who made it a pleasure unlike my previous review. I had delicious naploitaine pizza with plenty of olives and anchovies and a bubbly freshly cooked crispy pizza base. Mr B had pave de beouf with fries and salad. Peppercorn sauce was perfect. Whole meal was great with 2 beers €28.00.

We had been recommended this restaurant by friends and they were certainly right. We walked from the marina which took about 25 minutes. We had booked a table which is probably a good thing to do as it was quite busy. We all had the 'meal of the day' which was 3 courses of excellent food including cider and wine, the service was also excellent. We will definitely be going back on our next visit to St Cast.

We had takeaway pizza twice from this place and both times the pizzas were first rate. Usually you only have to give them ten minutes notice, but when I went there at opening time it took longer (30 minutes) as the pizza oven was warming up. The four meat pizza was particularly yummy. Great for thin crust pizza lovers.

excellent food good value for money, very congenial hosts Both the pizzas and Pasta were good will certainly return on our next visit..
