Land Sea Fish Chip Shop

I am extremely disappointed. My favorite fish and chip shop has really gone downhill. Last night, my husband had to remind the server that he ordered a fish supper, not a half portion, as she initially only gave him a small scoop of chips. Although he eventually received more chips, none of our meals had enough. You shouldn't have to point it out or keep an eye on the server! For £17, I expect to leave feeling full and satisfied. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. We will be sticking to Frankie & Benny's from now on.

During my recent visit, I wasn't asked if I wanted a bag for my takeaway, but when I collected it, it was in a brown paper bag that I was charged 12p for according to my receipt. It's not about the cost, but the fact that they are nickel and diming customers in this way is disappointing. There are plenty of other takeaways in the area that appreciate customers during these difficult times and don't nickel and dime them for extras. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Not having been in this chip shop for a very long time I was extremely disappointed in content and quality of two small fish suppers. The fish was in two pieces to fit the box and didn’t appear to be a full fish but two...pieces from different fish and one piece from the tail had very little meat in it Both the Chips and fish were very greasy. Disappointing from such a renowned establishment. Will be a long time before I give my custom to them again.

While they no longer offer a gluten-free only Saturday once a month, you can still enjoy gluten-free fish and chips any evening at this restaurant. The fish and chips are cooked to order, so there may be a short wait, but they are worth it - hot, crispy, and absolutely delicious. We always look forward to treating ourselves here.

First time I've been to the land n sea for a couple years me and my partner Frances fish n chips go there I said be worth it the chips were rotten waxy tatties the fish was greasy tasteless batter burnt won't be bk again...what happend to this shop award winner to really poor
