this restaurant was recommended to me by a French friend who lives in angouleme. it's on a side street while they drive to the city. it is beautiful and extremely simple decorated. the colors are cool and beautiful. nice taste. the foie gras...was really good among the best) and my man steak was great. I had monkfish and it wasn't good at all. over boiled, hard and bitter. I really should have sent it back, but I stayed calm. all the services were very good. I had the homemade ice creams in a tulip cookie case. not on what I expected. good, but too sweet. about everything I would recommend it. I think my fish was a withdrawal from the normal food there and I really would not have accepted it...

a truly excellent French restaurant with local and classic French food in a contemporary environment. the hotel is located in the south of the city and easily missed this restaurant has good street parking. service is excellent and nice touches like small tastes etc., the owner is the. chef has the interest in quality when they go to angouleme, and why not beautiful city, visit this restaurant, quality french eat to reasonable praise.
