No way! Fresh fruit tarts sign should read Canned Fruit Mess . The crust is thick dry, thick layer of chocolate, custard is bland. Pineapple peach definitely canned. Tasted awful. Carrot cake also awful. Prep for a mouthful of not delicious shredded carrots with a displeasing texture. Lasalle proves looks can be deceiving. They 've mastered the art of making food LOOK good and that 's about it. Unfortunately I am looking for freshness flavor.

I left Providence 26 years ago and evertime I come home Lasalle Bakery is my go to for a Taste of Home! Never a disappointment with anything Ive ever ordered. My children alway threatened my life if I don’t come home with Bakery Pizza. So here it is in my cake dish in MarylandThank You Lasalle for ALWAYS satisfying SmoochesILY see you on my next visit

If this isn't RI's best Italian bakery, idk what is. The food here is always so delicious. It's very cliché to say everything is delicious, but just come here once and you will see why there's always such a wait, pastries, sandwiches, coffee, cakes and pies, omg so much here. Trust me when I tell you, just gi there.

The owner the lady is very rude,super rude to her employees ,because they are minors she talks to them really bad pays them very low for the job these teenagers perform. Has no respect for her employees at all. This place is way to pricey and stuff sometimes dont even taste fresh.

Prices are reasonable by the quality of the products. Cleanliness is impeccable and the staff is very patient. Specially with me . Awesome place to go for your cravings
