Le Bako Restaurant Lounge Bar

The reason for the title is simply because we had 2 basic main courses - Mussels with Garlic and Steak with Pepper Sauce. Simple enough you'd think but so many chefs leave you disappointed - not this one. The Mussels were perfectly cooked and the galic sauce was too die for - creamy and stunning. The Steak was also perfectly cooked Entrecote and the Pepper Sauce the best I've ever had. The salad with the Steak had a really good dressing too. All in all I thoroughly recommend Le Bako - just make sure you have a good Sat Nav as it's hard too find otherwise.

Modern decor with fascinating artwork. The smoked salmon spaghetti was absolutely delicious and very filling. The other's had fish which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Friendly staff explained the items on the menu. The chalk board menu for drinks and deserts was a nice touch. The sunset was amazing and we had waited too long to find a bite to eat as other eateries had closed. Fortunately we stumbled across this amazing restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Wow we looked up Le Bako and went for the mussels (with spicy Tabasco) and steak. Absolutely delicious. Such lovely service as well. The vegetable bake with the steak was a work of art. Lovely visit definitely recommend.

We are visiting from London and stay in dankirk here. Owner cannot speak English and we cannot speak French. However they are very kind and food is very good. I hope visit here again in near future!

Really nice food in a beachside restaurant. Well presented and excellent cooking. The service was very good, homely but professional, this is a restaurant in would highly recommend
