Was the chef on holiday? Had lunch at the bistro. Expected a far bit more to be honest. A nice drive up the hills, beautiful views. Friendly reception. Table with views of the town and lake below. The starters were great, beautiful hand cut steak tartare and pate en croute. But the mains were very disappointing and below stander for a place like this. “Fish and Chips” if you fry fish with a batter crust, make sure it’s crispy! Same for the fries, they were soggy and completely soaked with fat. Turn the fryer up! Fry at higher temperature? And don’t leave it on the pass to long….. The home made pork sausage was way too dry, needed more of the fatty meat and needed more flavouring too. The bak...
