Le Champ Libre - Reservar uma mesa

Like many we called in here for a quick bite before heading over to Gare du Nord. The pasta dishes were pretty average and the wine was OK . When we asked for the bill it showed the wrong meals actually cheaper than ours ...and was corrected when we pointed this out; without a word of thanks from the waiter. The wine measures were shown as 28ml, we had ordered 25ml, but without any measure on the glasses we don 't know if that was correct or not. Food pretty average, service sloppy.

ambiente: looks like any of the other bars that dress the streets outside of gare du north, but a thing that highlights this place is the amazing music that plays everywhere. Eat: limited options, but the burgers and toasts are pretty good. also the french. tweeled soup and came hot and tasty. Drinks: the beer on the hahn is simply great when they need to relax while waiting for their train.

what a wonderful place. such friendly staff and so hospitable. an excellent choice of a stop, while waiting for the eurostar, so comfortable! right opposite the eurostar we sat outside on the paved, traditional French cafe style. fast, efficient. service and delicious coffee and tee. a family recovers time while watching the hectic and the trubel of men wonderful.

the service in restaurant is excellent, eating is good and at a reasonable price! although I don't french speak, but we could communicate effectively and get the order right!

decent veggieburger. slightly expensive €15) but good portion size. w cheap location near eurostar!
