Le Jules Verne - Reservar uma mesa

Our trip to Yvoire was supposed to be a short half day stay, we ended up leaving in frustration after 1.5 hours. Reason you just cannot find a place to eat. One could argue we should have booked but it will be only half true at best. Even during lunch time 20 30% of tables are free but remained unserved. Queues of hungry people wait to be seated and yet the claim is “we are overbooked”. Le Jules Verne is the best example waited for 20 minutes in a queue of approx. 10 people with enough free tables to accommodate all of us. In the meantime a insolent anglo saxon family just passed by the queue, went inside and was seated by the waiter, what a joke... Quote of the day in a 70% empty restaurant...

Do not come to this Restaurant! We came for a Sunday Lunch and had booked in advance- from the beginning it was downhill.... I had to ask the waiting staff several times for a children’s menu, it never came- I had the lobster salad to start- the lettuce looked like it had been shredded the previous day. Main courses not much better perch and fries Nobody checked on us... we then waited a full hour for main course at which point my husband complained to the manager we had visitors with us she apologized and said it was the chefs fault! in the two and a half hours we were there two tables came and went-I wouldn’t mind but it wasnt busy ,lots of staff not knowing what they are supposed to be do...

The restaurant is placed very close to the lake so there's a great view from the terrace! The food is really good and they have a broad selection on the menu. Our waiter Nacer was extremely friendly and our food came very quickly. The restaurant wasn't packed so there was a really relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a sunny day!

The view was amazing. Fabien, the waiter, attentive and charming. Each course creative and tasty. The white wine very good, and reasonably priced. I am confused as to why this restaurant comes out as 19th in Yvoire. Give me this place over the top rated restaurant any day.

This restaurant is next to the port and so has a fabulous view over the lake. I enjoyed the food and particularly the warm welcome and friendly service.
