A place of contrasts! It was a busy Friday evening and it seemed that they were very short staffed both for serving and for preparing the food. We were greeted well and placed our order quite soon after opting for a plate of salad which we could share between the 4 of us during our main course which was to be either pizza or a pasta meal. We saw that other diners were being served with enormous plates of food which clearly were double what normal people could eat. We started to wonder when the salad arrived on an enormous platter and was placed in the middle of the table as we had wished. Time went by and we were all hungry so after 10 or 15 minutes we started to help ourselves to fork fulls...
What a shame! Visited here in Aug 2012 and really enjoyed the food. We returned to get another big carb loaded meal after a day sailing to be served by two very overstretched and tired waitresses. We sat down outside and waited 20 minutes for a menu! After which we waited another 20 minutes to have our drink order taken. Once the drinks finally arrived we quickly gave the waitress our food order to cut time. However, another hour passed by and we were still waiting!! As we knew the portions were big we only ordered a main course each two plates of pasta. Nothing complicated. Looking around all the other tables seemed to be food less! Everyone had run out of conversation and seemed to be hung...
We have visited this restaurant several times in the past with friends, the portions are massive and very tasty. However, on recent occasions when we have tried to get a meal we have been told that the restaurant was fully booked, even though there was no one else there and all the tables have been empty, if there is a restaurant which is about to commit suicide this is the one. Friends who have visited have also reported negative experience's and I am not sure what the future is for this restaurant. Its setting in a quiet alley just off the road to Lidl, takes it off the beaten track, but when you find it the outdoor seating area is pleasant. Inside is light and airy. That is about as much...
Arrived with my family and was seated in side. After 15 minutes I went to find someone before I died of thirst! She took our drinks and food order. The drinks arrived and then it took another 45 minutes for me to find someone again and ask where the food was. The problem here was that not one person told us they were running behind on food. No one came to take our order or check whether we wanted any other drinks. I got up to leave and she said it was ready. Another ten minutes later it arrived. The food was delicious and cannot be faulted. However the lack of service ruined the night and my appetite Reserve uma mesa agora
One visits the place, expecting some Italian style by virtue of its name.... The pasta hardly reminds you of real Italian culinary skills, moreover the wine could rather pass as vinegar. Personnel took no interest in some friendly feedback and laughed the matter off with Napoli is just not an Italian restaurant (how silly to even think such! In short; too much pretense, overpriced, unprofessional. Not worth a second visit.
in a small street, nice restaurant. generous plate or we enjoyed the parsley squid, the pepper steak melting under the fork and a dorade. we dream of it again, but only in dream so much the plates are copyy. pleasant service under a shaded terrace.
