Le Paradis - Reservar uma mesa

First time at this small campsite and was pleasantly surprised! Nice to see the pools open early in the season but outdoor one very cold. Not for faint hearted. However the indoor pool made up for it. Took advantage of free tennis courts and table tennis, beautiful walks starting from site and beautifully maintained gardens. Did not utilise canoeing this occasion as visiting area again in Aug. We did however hire bikes in Sarlat from Liberty cycles and enjoyed a 20 mile bike ride in vehicle free disused train track which comes highly recommended. An amazing site. The best we have ever stayed at. Very welcoming staff led by the owners Ge and Ellen, who are very friendly and keen to help. Good sized pitches, fully serviced, are arranged in small areas and separated by hedging. Beautiful landscaped grounds which are very well maintained. An excellent swimming pool complex, with 2 outdoor pools, a children’s pool and water play area and indoor pool with hot tub, steam room and sauna. These facilities are all inclusive. The bar and restaurant are very good with friendly staff. There is a good shop and fresh bread and croissants available daily. We have never stayed at the campsite but have eaten here at the restaurants many times. The food is always delicious and Edwin is a very clever chef. The set menus are good value but you can also order off the a la carte which is not expensive. Happy hour is a particular hit. The bar staff are friendly, Anthony is great fun, and it is a very welcoming place.

The set dinner was well cooked and good value. We had breast of duck which was cooked to perfection. The trio of desserts was a chocolate explosion.

Great site. Used to come on family holidays. It only gets better and never disappoints. Good size pitches and lots to do on site.
