Eating here is an excellent experience its a place we take virtually all our visitors. In many ways its old style' French eating. There isnt a menu. You get what youre given. Typically midweek is course dining (plus wine coffee) for euros per person. Sundays is more expensive but usually courses. If you're a particularly faddy' eater then this place isnt for you but if your tastes are wide varied, you will love it here. There are few frills but the food is excellent can change on a daily basis. The restaurant opens only at lunch time, no evening service. But, not only is it great, well cooked food, but its also a great experience talking point.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over years and it is still the best place you can get for true French food . No menus just what madam is cooking that day . I have seen the premises grow from two small...rooms to more seating available outside and in another two rooms as well . Madam is always smiling if you get to see her as she is always busy in the kitchen with her array of staff to help including the original monsieur and madam Poirier. An excellent choice for lunch in the week or Sunday lunch

on the terrace serves a wonderful, cozy French Sunday dinner. almost lost in number of pay courses, but let me try. apro, with nibbles, suppe, sink and escape charcuterie, fish course and a main course of lamb, mushrooms and a baked tomato, cheese and finally.

enjoy this restaurant, excellent worth. correct French cuisine, no frills, but freshly cooked ingredients and wine. courses, no limit for wine and an excellent quiet place for per person! allow them a lot of time!

since over years gone to lunch after chez poirier and never had a bad experience. the people are friendly, eating is good and the price is correct. what not to like.
