This tiny unassuming restaurant is a brilliant lunchtime treat - and based on our experience completely unknown by tourists. Head up to the communal dining room and you'll only see local office and factory workers having steak and chips, simple ready-made starters and desserts, a communal cheese platter passed between tables, with menus at 9, 10 or 12 euros. It is a wonderful insight into the way great food is a central part of French life - wonderful food, kindly, unobtrusive service, and amazing value.

We love this place an everyday restaurant where daily workers have their daily lunches. The formula is simply a dish of appetizers, a choice of main courses, a dish of cheese and desserts. It has a simple formula and is simply brilliant.
