We absolutely loved this place! Fantastic food at a reasonable price, super friendly and English speaking. Everything is locally sourced, with a comprehensive list of producers. We had the full 5-course lunch, for €45, and it included such delicacies as white aspargus panna cotta with seafood, and most delicious basil-encrusted pollock. It’s a tiny little restaurant, with a pretty terrace across the street. I visited in February 2023 following the change of proprietors and will become a regular once more. The restaurant, though still tiny, now has the kitchen opened up to the dining area so patrons can see the chef at work. The menu du jour on weekdays remains great value for money, though inevitably a little more expensive than a year ago. Quality of ingredients and care in preparation are both excellent, with delicious and satisfying results.

We attended on a Thursday evening without a booking, lucky we went early as the small restaurant filled very quickly (we will book next time) Our waitress was informative and helped us with our average understanding of French, she was great. We both had entres and mains. Vegetarian options were available if asked. The menu is limited but coved most bases. We enjoyed the wine selection. Our meals were fresh and classic rustic.

The lovely chef and proprietor, Jocelyne has sold the restaurant. The old authenticity has gone along with the tradition home cooked style menu which always included a fabulous vegetarian course and reasonable pricing. It’s replaced with small portions and for us hard pasta and translucent/ jelly like undercooked poisson du moment and main courses priced at 19€.
