Les Explorateurs - Reservar uma mesa

The food was very nice. we all liked our dishes. The head waiter was very accommodating and new what she was doing. The staff had problems remembering who ordered what. The staff forgot to present some of the dishes (we had to ask). We were...recommended a white and red vine, both very nice wines. My son and I would like a glass of Sauternes with our foie gras.... The restaurant only sell Sauternes by the bottle, I find that a little weird. We were recommended a Canadian sweet wine instead I was not impressed. All in all a little too expensive when you think about the whole experience. I have problems understanding how they could get a Michelin star.

beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel in val thorens. we received a really warm greeting from all the staff of the house when we were added to the restaurant. well distributed tables and friendly staff. quirky decor with beautiful little hauch like the...Mountain goat climbing on a buck by vintage michelin guides. the food was excellent, including the freebies that we had the menu refugee tasting and each cure was beautifully presented, show real technical skills from the kitchen. the wee was at a reasonable price. the chase car was a real highlight and the dame that served him had a great knowledge of what was presented. a great evening.

the experience was a wonderful beginning to finish. the menu was delicious, kreatiw and beautiful presented with great attention to every detail. the service was excellent and the atmosphere was exceptionally cozy and comfortable. we enjoyed trying a well paired wine assortment, and the cheese car should die. les explorateurs was a stand-out menu and surprisingly good value given the exceptional quality of the ingredients and preparation, the unexpected extras, the service and the total experience.

how can a Michelin-star restaurant be so bad? a tasted service, only one person serving the whole room, eating without salt, cold, dishes more than 20 minutes. surreal! terrible!
