Les Racines - Reservar uma mesa

A late choice for our last night in Colmar and we had a wonderful meal. We chose the set menu, it was such good value, and every aspect of the meal was perfect. You could tell that the chef took great care in selecting only the best and freshest produce and bringing them together in delicious plates. We were unsure as to the wine and the waitress (owner) allowed us to try various ones to find the one we best preferred. A definite gastronomic treat, and so reasonably priced. Do not miss this place - a short walk from the pedestrian area but worth the effort.

We fully understand, why this restaurant was recommend by TripAdvisor users. Very nice atmosphere and short but delicious menu. Card in French and English and hand written notes in German;-)We went for the gazpacho and as main three of us had the entrecôte and one for the fried duck. The wins were from the area of Alsace. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the restaurant ist highly recommendable

We visited Les Racines when we were staying in Colmar and had an exceptional meal. The gazpacho, magret canard, fromage plate, and dessert were outstanding. The service was exceptional and very friendly. We highly recommend eating here. A reservation would be in order.

The food as well as the ambiance and the service were all excellent. I took the 3-course meal and enjoyed each one of the dishes (Sardines, Mackerel, and Alsacean dessert. Highly recommended!
