We had expected a lot from any restaurant in Perigeaux. It was very busy as it was a Saturday and market day but this restaurant had some space outside. The menu is quite hard to make sense of. You think that the Plat du Jour...is a fixed menu by what it says, but in fact you can select from many dishes, had I realised that, I wouldn't have gone for the unadventurous burger. It also left my husband having to quickly make up his mind. The service was incredibly slow by anyone's standards and the wait to take our order and to serve it, was far too long. To be fair, we arrived at the end of the luncheon stage, but the terrace was full and they served others as we arrived. No matter, my steak tried to chew me, vs me eat it, j’s hamburger broke on her plate,...Neither were cooked as ordered. the fries were simply reheated, oily soft and tasty. niether of us ended the meal, simply paid and glad we could go.

cozy restaurant in the city centre of Perigeux. great service, friendly staff, delicious food (best foie gras in periguex my opinion after) paired with excellent weeps. and will definitely visit again! vegetarian friendly and speak/understand English

had a great lunch. many options on the menu for a good price. the service was great, as was the ambiente and the quality. in any case recommend!
