Terrible service and no need to say more ?And they just don’t care.Our dining experience at Lunitas was a complete disappointment from start to finish. The overall experience left a sour taste in our mouths, as the service and treatment we received were far below par. This experience completely ruined our trip to the Island.Right from the beginning, we received the unwelcoming attitude of the hostess. Normally I love this place so this time was SO disappointing. It took almost 50 minutes to just get guacamole and chips and the guacamole was insanely slathered in red onions inside and out. It was WAY too overpowering. It took another 40 minutes for the food to arrive, and our order was wrong (gave us deep fried tofu instead of fish). They offered to make it again, but we didn't want to be there another hour and a half so thankfully they took it off the bill and I shared my dish with my friend but we left hungry and disappointed. Amazing restaurant on the Sunshine Coast!?I wasn’t sure if I could find a good restaurant for vegetarian or vegan food on the Island. But to my surprise, Lunitas had really great Baja Tofu Tacos ? Their menu even had other options and would love to try them sometime soon. Also, loved their drinks?Very friendly and accommodating staff. They try to help you out with seating arrangements very quickly and are very considerate with their service.??Last but not the least, the location is just perfect. They have multiple stories for both indoor and patio dining options with amazing harbour views! ? We enjoyed the corn and a couple of fantastic entrees—so delicious! Haley was absolutely wonderful. She was managing the bar, taking our orders, delivering food and drinks, and even chatting with us now and then. In today's world, tipping is often expected, but Haley truly deserves it for her exceptional attention to detail and customer service. The food was also extraordinary. What a hidden gem! On the bright side, the food itself was quite delicious. The taco and burrito were really good, but the rice and beans that came with the meal were disappointing—they were dry and tasteless, and I felt like I could have made better myself. I think I'll give Lunita's another chance, as it might have just been an off day for my server or the kitchen.

We arrived without a reservation on a Friday night (my mistake), but the wonderful staff graciously allowed us to sit at a table until it was needed for the reservation. They were incredibly kind and the food was absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend the street corn—it was truly an incredible meal!

Busy but friendly, everything was delicious! 6 of us shared the queso, corn, shrimp, and mini chimichangas and were pleasantly full. I wish we saved space for the churros ?The kitchen closes at 9 so don't go too late.

It was a great place for gluten-free options. The view was spectacular, and while service was a bit slow, my shredded pork carnitas, with a side of rice and beans, were delicious.

Great experience here. Tortilla chips with the pineapple-serrano sauce exceeded expectations. They can get quite busy so plan accordingly.
