Ice cream is good but I really feel horrible for the young girls working in there. Saw how intimidated they were first hand yesterday. Seems to be the shift leader or whatever but he needs to get his attitude fixed towards his coworkers. Would be unacceptable anywhere else. In addition to that I wanted to pick up an ice cream cake this morning which was pre paid and the lady working was adamant that it hasn’t been paid yet. Super rude how the interaction went.
Great gelato. But holy Christ what poor customer service from the Scottish(? guy serving the scoops. Literally yelled at his poor young coworkers for letting in a group of old women in right at closing. It was their birthday and they were looking forward to some gelato. Rather than making them feel welcome this dude threw the scoop into the sink and refused to serve them, and stormed off into the back. Time to find a new job perhaps?
Lots of flavours and love that they have a lot of nondairy options too! I found that the scoop size varied per server so it sucks when you have a much smaller one compared to others. They have some indoor and outdoor seating but for the indoor seating the couch is really old and broken. Hope they can invest in a better one to make the indoor space more inviting.
