I was in the mood for an evening of Japanese cuisine, and the reviews of this restaurant have arrived and I was curious. So I reserved a place in the sushi bar. the restaurant radiates a 100% Japanese atmosphere. the hostess, receive me kindly and she also brought me to my place in the sushi bar. I chose the six-course speciality menu with sukiyaki and a little ebi tempura to go with the aperitif. After I had ordered, it turned out that the oil for the ebi tempura could not be fast at temperature so that they would use it after curs 2 in the menu. An unbelievable experience. Really high class cuisine paired with a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. It is like taking a trip to Japan itself. Wonderfully designed furnitures, traditional Japanese decorations and a nice and comfortable service. Indeed it is expensive but it's absolutely worth it. From...Sushi to Sukiyaki-everything is a top-notch experience. Just combine it with the outstanding tea and you have a wonderful experience that won't be forgotten.

This is the only place that truly feels like Japan and all of Hamburg. Food can be a little bit bland and lacking imagination in this city, although restaurants and stars are plentiful. Having lived in the city for a couple of years and try...any new Asian or Japanese restaurants I can definitely say this is still my absolute favorite and definitely my go to place solo or with friends to enjoy excellent sushi and other delightful Japanese bites.

eating is excellent, good quality and amazing presentation. very accommodating to custom orders and the fresh wasabi is an experience in itself. the second time here and we'll come back. can not recommend this place enough

we had the traditional menu which was a Little bit disappointing because everything was o.k. but not more than that we missed the Spirit of the sophisticated japanese kitchen
