Mavis Winkle's Irish Pub

I enjoyed lunch at Mavis Winkle 's Irish pub in Twinsburg, Ohio. The pub is located at the southern end of a mini-mall west of Darby Road. There are many free parking available on the street at the Mini Mall parking. This is my first visit to this pub. The pub has a dining room and a bar located in the bar. The bar has a smaller dining area. There is a separate dining area with a large screen and a projection TV. There is an outdoor dining area for warmer weather. I started with a bowl of Guinness Onion Soup. The soup has a great depth of taste. The broth tastes great. There are many onions in the broth. My husband and I travel throughout Ireland and find that, stateside, Mavis’s Irish dishes are the closest in taste and quality to what we experienced throughout the Emerald Isle! The fish-n-chips are authentic, a traditional recipe, and the fish is haddock —the one-piece dinner is huge and more than enough for a hearty appetite! The coleslaw is homemade as are the fries! The quality of their Irish and American cuisine is EXCEPTIONAL and CONSISTENT, quantities are abundant! The menu and drink lists offer something for everyone and service is excellent, too! Mavis is our go-to for traditional fish-n-chips, boxty, etc. throughout Lent and all year!

I have the Lachsburger on a recommendation from a friend. It was pretty good, I just don't think I'm a Lachsburg type of person. The frits and the dill sauce in the picture were EXCELLENT though and I would definitely come back to try a burger next time. Service was fast and incredibly friendly, but a tad more expensive than I liked for the amount of food.

Here for dinner. Food was great and service was excellent. Katie was our waitress and brought everything we wanted. She was very friendly, fast with a smile and efficient. The owner, Ed. even came by to make sure everything was perfect. He was very friendly and easy to speak.. He was really interested in what we had to say. Would recommend Mavis Winkle's!

Very friendly service. Fast service, I was very impressed how fast our server with our order and how fast food came out. It was lunch break and they were moderately busy, but where very good. Pub-style food. Soup was great. I like the half soup/ have sandwich option available. Sandwiches are well dimensioned.
