Mayfair Bakery and Patisserie

An old timey bakery in a heritage building with very quirky interior incorporating vintage baking equipment, serving a good selection of tasty flaky pies, sausage rolls, danishes, biscuits and more cheesecakes than you can poke a stick at! I dropped in to collect a quick breakfast ahead of a busy day got a delicious gigantic sausage roll brought my partner a pastry wrapped Kransky (the flavour of which changes every month! . Both were flaky, delicious hit the spot! The coffees were excellent staff friendly... We still have a few more days in Port Adelaide will no doubt make a return visit before our departure.

they had only a vegan hearty option, but two desert/sweet options. the sausage roll was ok, a bit dry and not super tasteful, but great in a prise where I was. the donut was very good, but I didn't like the icing had a lot of a strange texture. I wouldn't go out of my thing to eat here again, but if it were the only option, I wouldn't be sad either.

Stopped in for a late lunch about 1 pm. Not that much left in the cabinets said my husband. It must be good, I said. It is. The sausage rolls, pies and coffee were great. Terrific service, very friendly staff. Loved the rolling pin wall. I do not think anyone would be disappointed with a visit to this bakery.

Just bought a steak and mushroom pie. One bite and I burned my mouth, so very hot it will be ready to eat by the time this review is published. Looks nice, smells good, just wish I could eat it. Only managed to nibble the edges…

3 vegetarian baked (1 vegan, which was decent), 4 or 5 sweet options (cancake and donuts-choc-toughnut was pretty good,) 3 vegetable milk for coffee, which was also quite decent. would come back, friendly service.
