Extremely Disappointing Experience at Middleteranian I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Middleteranian today, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I decided to order food from them using their website ordering system, and my experience went downhill from there. To start, I ordered three items totaling $25.11 through their website, but I didn't receive an email confirmation. Worried, I decided to call the restaurant. A girl answered and informed me that they received the order but that one of the items, baba ganoush, was not available, and she suggested I substitute it with hummus. Placed an online order for Fatoush salad with chicken. They got my order wrong, so I pointed out the issue to the cashier when I picked up the food. The cook had to come to the counter to confirm the issue. I showed the receipt on my phone to highlight the mistake in order prep. Somehow the proof was not sufficient for them. Both the cashier and the cook had to dig out the online order printout from the trash can to agree to my assertion. I was fine with them verifying the order. The Issue was with the cook using his bare hands to search for the online order form in the trash and using the same bare hands to prepare the replacement dish without wearing gloves. Middleterranean is solid. The food is tasty. Service is ok, a little slow and disorganized but nothing problematic, just be aware of it if you're in a hurry. Couple times I've been there and they've had no ice, which is disappointing. Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian and vegan options, clearly marked. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, ours ate off our plates. Parking: Small crowded strip mall lot, difficult to find a spot at lunch and peak dinner times. A larger lot is behind the building but you'll have to walk all the way around. So we order from here often. My kids love the food and this particular evening they asked for middleterranean. I placed a carry out order and I specifically asked that they do not put the hot sauce on the food since it is very spicy and kids won't eat it. Ofcourse they put hot sauce right on top of it and was noticed when we arrived home. I called the lady to complain and tell that I specifically repeated this instruction twice and she was rude and saying no credit and it is what it is. Quite dismissive. Everything is made to order, so I waited about 20 minutes after placing my order. I had the falafel bowl with tahini and garlic sauce on the side. The bowl itself was enjoyable, and both the rice and salad were good. However, the falafels were quite dry and not the best I’ve had. The pita was decent. I also ordered a side of fries, but they weren’t the greatest either. I might return to try a different bowl, but I was let down by the falafels. It was a bit pricey as well.

I Love Middleterranean. I could literally eat it every day and it's just as good every time. It is my absolute favorite Mediterranean food. I usually get the chicken or steak bowl with salad and rice. It also comes with hummus- they have the best hummus!! The service is always fast, friendly and consistent.

I was very disappointed with food. It was not tasty at all. You may have to get new cooks. For example, with all do respect, Jarasa Kabob in Skokie has real authentic Mediterranean taste. Your Chicken shawarma had a bad after taste. Reserve uma mesa agora
