Mizuki Grill - Reservar uma mesa

First time at this restaurant. I have been to mostly all of the Sushi restaurant in the area and I must admit, Mizuki Grill tops them all in terms of quality, service, price and uniqueness. The drinks, in this case, Lychee martini was probably the best I ever had. And I'm even comparing with some of the most expensive Sushi places in LA. Jim (owner) and Mani (hostess) was very friendly and accommodating. I was skeptical at first as the place was cavernous with hardly any patrons for a Friday night. Apparently, the establishment just finished a remodel 2 weeks prior. Needless to say, I will be a frequent diner and will spread the word on this hidden Highland Park gem.

The restaurant was very large with not many diners so the ambience was poor. The food was unappetizing and tasted terrible. I had grilled teriyaki chicken as I found not many options on the menu appealing. It was chopped up chicken thighs with grizzle and skin and very salty. It came with plain white rice and over cooked vegetables, also very salty. My husband had shrimp which were bland and tiny. Would never go back.

it was the middle of the dinner rush (6:15) on a Saturday and the restaurant was completely empty. no great sign for a sushi restaurant. we still tried. the food arrived quickly and had fun fish and aftertaste. we couldn't finish, pay and leave. both my wife and I were sick for the rest of the evening and the next day. we will not come back

the food was very innovate, tasty with various mixes and combinations. very impressed some of the best Japanese foods I have eaten everywhere

excellent eating. the cook is very good and accommodating. numi best tries to make the hospitable happy.
