Mönchhof Gaggenau - Reservar mesa

the mönchhof is located in a remote location in the side valley of gaggenau. nice. little parking. many smaller rooms where you can dine. small terrace, tightly chaired. rustic, dark wood, a lot of crazy deko and pictures, partly with kernel humor.The hot is very chatty and entertains (like to) ALL guests(s) on the terrace.Use very nice and attentive.Enlightly, good-bourgeois, tasted some but after finished products: soup and sauce powder, deep-cooled pums. Criminal butter was luscious. salat nicely fresh and each sort separately made. for vegetarians there are only kartoffel bags or cheese spetlets.Toilets are in the back in eg, small windows with daylight. 80s style, clean.

we have eaten several times in the restaurant and it was always satisfactory. but what we have experienced on 08.12.2022 is already bound by ignorance. fried with three small pieces, everything else was undefined meat and everything with maggisosse, dumplings from the cooking bag. price 28,50 eur. rostbraten was not a bratbeef, but a piece of meat, roasted to dry, but a half a pound fried over it, kartoffel salat was more a kartoffel mansch. price 23,50 eur. we have eaten together with our dog! we did not want to argue near, but in retrospect there is already bitter “up”. so no longer visit. gothic, always thought there's honest hospitality and quality.

about the hotel I can't say anything, but the restaurant was very good at first visit. the food is as described by others, I tasted very well the small suppe before as the house was very sharp, but I also liked very well. the Russian environment I felt very pleasant. the service was also very friendly, attentive and very fast. I come back and recommend the restaurant.

we took lunch here for the second time. very nice service. interior with a lot of old deko, very clean. you feel like home. there were many well-known actors. interesting to look at everything.
