Mousehole Deli Kitchen

Last day of what was a perfect holiday. We’d hesitated after reading several negative reviews but we’d had a good roast here a couple of years ago, so booked a table. We had the first sitting of the evening and were greeted by a very bubbly waitress. We went for a glass of wine each, with 2 small plates for starters. The poor man’s scampi was lovely, the pork belly tasted nice but was barely warm. The waitress encouraged us to have the turbot and told us she believed there were 2 left, so we both chose it. We then watched her tell the table of 3 and the table of 6 walk-ins that turbot was an option. We love fish and we’d had some excellent fish all week; 2 Fore Street and 2 incredible meals...

My husband I enjoyed a fantastic meal at this Deli restaurant, looking straight out to the fabulous Mousehole harbour. I was super impressed with the staff. The waiting staff were attentive, very professional, sweet bubbly. A great way to start an evening meal! We had the Turbot which was super delicious well presented. For dessert we both had crème brûlée, scrumptious! We would definitely recommend this deli restaurant.

This charming little spot offers a lovely sea view. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. It's also very dog-friendly. While the downstairs area can feel a bit cramped, I've dined upstairs before, and it's much more spacious. The menu features a nice variety, with options ranging from tapas to fish and chips and burgers. Overall, a great place for dinner!

This is a fantastic spot for a quick treat or a meal with friends. The staff was accommodating and went above and beyond, and I will definitely return. Parking can be a bit challenging to find, but once you secure a spot, the visit is absolutely worth it! Service was great, and I enjoyed my meal. Price range per person: £1–10. I dined here at the beginning of September and had an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, the service was quick, and the staff were excellent.
