Hello Hunny Bees It's your girl Hunny with a review of another local small business. I was so excited when my developers said they were Vegan! I'm like bet everyone has been ravin about NuVegan leh we go!! We get there the parking is good. The restaurant is so Dope the writing is on the wall. So it was 4 of us. I write our order down 3 crab cakes dinners and 1 drummies dinner. The person taking the order was confused everyone helping her was confused it was as if they did not know how to explain their menu. They kept asking me for my order although they had what I wrote down and they had my order they wrote down themselves . It was frustrating. We finally get our food I forgot to take a pic...

I waited for more than 30 minutes for my food, which I only received after specifically requesting it. The worker at the front kept mixing up my order with the person who ordered before me. The food itself was of poor quality. I could only manage to take three or four bites as the macaroni was too salty and the greens were under-seasoned. Additionally, they used the same cheese in my entree as they did in the macaroni, resulting in both dishes tasting the same. Despite loving this place for years, I will not be coming back after this experience.

The visuals and the aesthetic of the restaurant aren’t the best but the workers are friendly, and the food tastes good. We ordered the crabcake and mac cheese, which visually did not look very appealing but somehow the crabcake tasted exactly like crab, and the mac cheese was delicious. The prices are pretty fair too, we definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to try vegan food or for vegan people, but definitely don’t expect anything too fancy

This food is delicious. No matter what I have ordered it has been amazing. The menu is kind of a vegan Southern style menu. You can pair any entree with any side or sides. I prefer the max and cheese, hands down the best vegan mac I have ever had. My friends love the vegan crab cakes, my go to is the house made black bean burger (sounds simple but is seasoned so well). The staff are kind and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. Reserve uma mesa agora

I like NuVegan cafe. I feel sorry for the two women that always look like they are tired and overworked. The kale had way too much garlic in it. The lasagna was burnt and not fresh. The yams could have been better if it didn’t have all that yam hair in it. The sub had no flavor. The Mac and cheese is nothing but a bunch of tofu. Over all I think that the food is over priced for it not to be perfect. The crab cakes were ok.

Despite these disappointments, the staff were excellent, professional, and attentive, which was appreciated. If there is new management or cost-cutting measures in place, I would urge them not to change things that were not broken. This visit was highly disappointing, especially after traveling nearly 6 hours to visit Nu Vegan. I had hoped to write a better review, but honesty is more important.

I love their food. Flavorful and so easy to order whatever you want from their buffet. My favorites are the vegan chicken drummies, the curried yuba cold salad, and I always get a side of collards or garlic kale. All of their tofu options are insanely good. They really know what they're doing, so dang delicious!!! Nice atmosphere. My husband likes to get the sandwiches too.

The lady working there had a bad attitude and had trouble following directions. The food quality is very inconsistent - some days it's good, and other days it's not. I won't be returning, as the prices are too high for the mediocre food. I recommend trying "Land of Kush" in Baltimore for better food and customer service. Reserve uma mesa agora

I loved this place but so many things have changed; price and portion. They spoiled me, what can I say. What has happened is I have been learning how to recreate those dishes I love, a work in progress, so I still slip in from time to time. I think Georgia Ave is better.

sooo good. like insanely good. The girl working today gave me a huge portion which i appreciate, it smells like straight up soul food when you walk in and everything looks so good and tastes amazing
