I recently had an amazing three-course Sunday lunch at The Old Pheasant. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The "Pork & Chorizo" Scotch Egg starter was delicious, as were the Scallops that my wife ordered. For my main course, I had one of the best Roast Pork dishes I've ever had. And for dessert, the Caramelised Apple Crumble with custard was the perfect choice. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially now that it's under new ownership. Kudos to Damon and Chef Robert for a fantastic experience.

Such a charming spot! We had dinner here with guests last week, and returned today for drinks on our own. We were quite taken aback by the price of a 175ml glass of wine at £8.90 - a bit excessive for a village pub! However, the Guinness was priced at £4.90, which was more in line with our expectations and offered great value.
