We had a great recommendation, so decided to go to Pane e Vino. Our server was first rate. Wine was perfect, prices were reasonable, food was good. Salty, but we eat very little salt, so probably us. Best bread ever, salad good and fresh, pasta...very nice, amazing calamari vegetables. When we went to pay, however, we were told their credit card machine hadn't been working with USACredit cards. This was a huge problem. Because of our short time in town, we didn't have enough Euros to pay for the meal. We do not have a means to get money changed through an ATM or credit card, so we were very embarrassed to be short Euros, and left with nothing cash-wise for our next morning to get out of town...

The food was excellent food and service very good and Italian. The atmosphere good and the prices are reasonable. Can only be recommended.
