Pawley's Raw - Reservar uma mesa

I give it 3 stars simply because Pre-Covid this place was a great place to din. I'm not sure what happened, but this time we were very disappointed at our meal. At first 5 people stood around the hostess, but we had to wait for a table, because we had only 4 people and they didn't want to waste their 6 tables. we wanted to sit in the air conditioning, but they tried to put us in the covered terrace with only one floor fan. if it's 100 degrees outside, a ventilator on the floor is not enough. our waitress was either not experienced or unfamiliar enough with the menu, as she could not make a good recommendation when asking to some of the escaped. sweeter tee was not sweet at all, we had to ask...

We didn't bother to picture the food because it wasn't worth it. And I really can't remember what we had. I don't want to be too harsh, but they state they have the best Oyster Shooter in the World....ha! The Shooter was tasteless and so big I had to ask for a smaller glass to get the Oyster. I really don't think the server knew how to make it. Terrible dinner to start our vacation. However my beer was cold and the server was nice.

Amazing food. Recommend the Shrimp and Grits, and Blackened Grouper Tacos. Oyster shooter was great. The hostess and wait staff are awesome. I hope to get back before my vacation ends. If you are at least within an hour drive, definitely make Pawley's Raw Bar one of your dining experiences.

Service...2....waitress was not interested in being there. Calamari was way too over cooked. Flounder was good, bacon wrapped scallops good...system went off line...cash only....after we had ordered. Cold water oysters was the saving grace.
