Phillips Event Center At Briarcrest

Been playing this course for 7 years. It’s always in great shape, but it is always packed to the gills and slow all day, everyday, all year no matter what. Even mid day on weekdays during the winter It’s not uncommon to have 2-3 groups stacked up on the tee box waiting for 18 holes- even with a Marshall. Groups hitting 8-9 balls off the tee is not uncommon either. But, that’s a BCS problem, there’s two public courses and they can be packed all they want because there’s nowhere else to go.

What a dump! Played today issues...... 1. Greeens sanded an over watered wet even in 95 degrees 2 par 5 opening hole was par 3‍ 3. Slow 4 2nd hole played off green tees as they were digging more holes 5. Can't hit driver 3 wood on range 6. No facilities other than a shack check in and ports potty Good.... Cart girl was fun and personable and certain parts of fairway were good will not be back !

Good municipal course. The course seems to be well maintained and kept in good shape. Definitely keeps it interesting on the tee boxes. You likely shouldn't use driver on every par 4/5. Most holes are not cart path only, but please be respectful of the course if you drive off the path.

think they’re lying about how many tee times they have available. said they were completely booked when my buddy tried to get a tee time and they were pretty much wide open. other than that place is solid for a good price

Great track has been a phenomenal part of the golf experience in BCS. Unfortunately the greens have gone away. I have never seen a more severe infestation of Poa. Whoever is in charge of the “grass” has totally failed.
