At first glance The Pilot House looks like an easy place to look past and keep going. We finally took the plunge on our last afternoon in Kennebunkport and our only regret is not stopping in sooner. Our server, Santana, was also the bartender and one of only two servers on shift and she still managed to be kind, attentive and prompt. The restaurant is very clean and the simple menu is executed with care. Highly recommend the fried chicken bites (not sure of item name) on the appetizer menu: hand cut and breaded (definitely their own seasoning mix) chicken thighs, perfectly dressed with hot honey. This place was amazing! The food was really good and reasonably priced. The staff though was the best! I had my 3yo husky with us on vacation and they offered to have us seated on the patio so he could enjoy the beautiful view and weather with us. They also brought him a water bowl. The people around us were very nice and gave him lots of love and attention! Thank you to the staff for helping us make a great decision for an early dinner!

Wow, this place has some absolutely amazing food! The lobster roll was perfect, and the chicken tenders were the the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the country. The fried pickles were also . Very friendly staff too, I highly recommend!

Great lobster rolls. Ask them warmed, dipped with butter. Service a little slow.
