Red Lobster Olathe

We visited 6384 location in Olathe KS on 11/7. We were there right at opening. I think there was only one other table seated before us. We were seated near the bar. As we approached the first table offered to us, I paused a moment because the table seemed to have an odd appearance that I first thought was just wear to the finish from use, but turned out to be dried-on food grime from past diners. The host noticed that I was looking and the table was smeared with dried food so had us sit at another table that still had crumbs on it, but not to the extent of the original table. It's been quite a while so l went to visit Red Lobster during Lobster Fest. They have a tank of live lobsters in the lobby. Of a good selection of lobster specials, l picked a dual Roasted Caribbean rock and Maine lobster tails. Got a side salad which was bigger than expected buttered broccoli. One of the highlight of eating there has always been the warm seasoned biscuits they were super tasty. The Caribbean lobster tail was a good size and was very enjoyable when dipped in the liquid butter. The Main lobster, imported from named for the state, was sweet delicious, it melted in your mouth. Was a little pricy but was a great meal. Have not tried other items on the menu for couple of years so...

Fish lobster mashed potatoes were great. Fish cooked perfectly. Wife's lobster and steak were both fairly rubbery. The restaurant was empty they sat all 3 parties right next to each other in the bar which needlessly made it feel like you were being forced to dine family style with strangers. Mixed drinks were $13 ea and $8 draft beers. The service was mediocre even though our waitress only had one other table. I got a double vodka straight and it tasted watered down. It was $100 for 2 entrees, 1 drink 1 beer 1 coke, tax and tip. So the Cod was 5 stars everything else was maybe 2 star.

Terrible service waited over ten minutes to be seated. Server saw us ignored us. So I had to personally flag down to actually be seated. Manager Katie oh because she is new as a poor excuse. How hard it to at least acknowledge us?! Had cold biscuits and cold side. My mashed potatoes were loaded but they were so cold they didn't even melt the cheese and butter on top. Server we had was busy texting than actually working. Worst experience ever. Train your staff to actually care about the customers. What a terrible place. I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible service. Granted we came in 30 minutes before closing, the hostess who was wearing his jacket, reluctantly sat us in an empty restaurant at a table closest to the restrooms. The last waitress was nice, but then proceeded to argue with other staff about seating us, all of which could be heard. Said waitress then gave us dirty looking plates and cups. We had bad vibes about the whole situation and ended up placing our order to go. Not very welcoming or pleasant experience.

Worst experience I ever had at Red lobster went in to buy a gift card I waited 10 minutes no one waited on me another couple walked they got seated within 2 minutes she ignored me didn't even ask if I needed to be seated left didn't come back I waited another 5 minutes and went to Olive gardens was created at the door got my gift cards there took 2 minutes ref lobster lost my business

The biscuits are the best I've ever had, delicious! I ordered the lobster linguini and my husband order the lobster and steak I personally didn't like my plate but I tried his and it was delicious, so next time I'll probably have that. The service was amazing, our waiter was wonderful. The ambience was very nice it was decorated for valentines which was nice.

Great employees and delicious food, had to come in for the endless shrimp and I was not disappointed at all, my favorite the garlic shrimp was on point with a side of rice and broccoli, had a few drinks as well and the wait was not too bad at all considering it's the holiday weekend, I definitely plan on coming back again soon. Tried on New Year's Eve and not many people. The food comes out quick and very good flavor as always. The s'more martini was a little off from the picture but tasted okay. Definitely will order the lobster tail again.

You can chew it but not digest it. The waiter was great but the shrimp pasta was horrible!
